On another note, the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii has been quiet as a mouse for the past 4 months. This is one of the lowest levels of activity since the 1950s, however scientists are wondering what it's up to next. :eek:

Nothing left in the magma chamber. Let's hope it's quiet time for a few decades.

Kilauea is a "Catch 22" - If it stops erupting completely, the tourists won't have anything to see and the resorts won't have any customers. However, if it erupts too much, the resorts (like the ill-fated Vacation Land) will wind up buried in lava. :(

Did a job once in West Virginia and I noticed the trailers on the sides of the hills, some had what looked like ten stacks for blocks under one end and only one to two on the other. I wouldn't sleep in it!!
