Unknown symbol on schematic

The "E" designator could possibly mean "element".

The symbol represents a connector for a temperature element, i.e. a NTC thermistor.

If a thermistor is inserted in "E", then the charger is monitoring ambient temperature.
Ideally, the thermistor should be mounted directly on to the battery pack in order to monitor the temperature of the battery during charging.

Thanks a lot, when i observed the schematic again after reading your reply, yes it could mean element or maybe any external connection outside the circuit, cheers man!
