Its a lot of time im following the forum, thank you for all your job guys. Anyway today i got stuck into a problem. My notebook got a little problem in its power system. I think i found the component but im not sure: i think its a tranformator. I teated it dor continuity and it beeps. I thing the insulation got a problem because of an electric shock. Can you confirm me its a transformer? The component is labeled "100 M17".

Thanks, i suppose the two poles shouldnt be in continuity, right?

Yes, A coil will measure a very low value on an ohmmeter.
