Hello,
i received a component that i think is a conductor,
but it doesn't look like the ones i usualy use, and i am unable to find infos on internet on how to know its value.
can you please help me ?
thank you very much!

Inductor maybe but I've never seen one like that seen a lot of green ones and some blue ones and even yellow but they look more like a resistor then that does. It's short and stubby.

And the leads look more like a diode type
They come in something like that.

yea thats clearly the problem,
Sorry for my wrong wording, i meant it looks like a capacitor to me probably (not a conductor).
Since i am kind of a since i am totaly new to the Electronic Yard Game, i only have a basic multimeter doing Volt,Ohm,Diode, hFE and Amper.
I doubt it is a diode because it is yellow with 3 color strips where usualy diodes have only one strip to determine the positive leg. Both legs are the same length also here...
It maybe looks like a MLCC Capacitor, but then to be honest im totaly unable to find how to measure this one's value.... *sight*

Value shown on the multimeter is "E", so an Error because there is Infinite resistance i guess. (using it on 2000K even).

Hello,

Does the "E" appear in both directions on your meter?
It can be a diode that shows "E" in one direction and a value in the other.
