Looking at a multimeter pcb and I see a small wafer extrusion labeled RT2, is this some sort of resistor?

 

Resembles a PB/contact pad, no apparent connection between each trace.

Could be a very low and trimable capacitance. Does your meter have a humidity function? I've seen similar looking humidity sensors.
