Im looking at 12 x 100watt horn transducers. This is for an ultrasonic cleaning tub. If the total wattage is 1200 watts for the gen, should I put the transducers in parallel or series? Thanks.

Parallel or Series connections are a moot-point.
How You will generate the Power, and the Voltages and Current levels will vary.

You want an Isolated-Square-Wave-Generator that can comfortably produce ~1500-Watts,
and has an Adjustable-Output.
In case you haven't seen something like this ...........
it will be HUGE, HEAVY, and seriously expensive.

How much Money do You have to spend ?

First, obtain a Specification-Sheet on an individual Transducer.

Since You will be using 12 of them, it will probably be best to drive them in parallel,
or maybe even create an individual Driver for each Transducer.
But all of the Drivers will require a Power-Supply.
1 big Power-Supply is generally cheaper, and takes-up less Real-Estate, than 12-smaller ones.

The Driver-Circuitry can not be safely designed without a Specification-Sheet for the Transducers.
