Hi All,

My question is can a multi-conductor wire (5 conductor, 26AWG, 300V) be UL 1061 compliant? FYI UL 1061 is a UL standard for a single conductor wire.

Currently looking at an engineering drawing that has a multi-conductor wire and also states it is UL1061 compliant.

Google UL 1061 and you will find lots of vendors selling UL 1061 wire and see if they have any. That is the electrical appliance wire standard.

I have done this, and have not found any multi-conductor wire that is rated to UL 1061. Just wanting confirmation that my original assumption is correct.

Could you please post a link here for a multi-conductor wire that is 1061 rated? All I get is results of hook-up wire when searching UL1061; I have searched Allied, Weico, Waytek and none have a multiconductor 1061 wire.

My goto before I retired was Belden Wire and Cable. https://www.belden.com/ contact their customer support. My search on their site turned up a 36 conductor 22AWG cable and then listed a lot of others that didn't specify 1061. They can make anything you want custom for a price.
