Lightning with peak current = 3kA hits the upper phase of a distribution line(23.6m) above the ground. The radius of the phase is 1.258cm.The insulation of the phase can handle voltages up to 750kV.Now if I knew the wave resistance of the phase , I could calculate if there will be a shielding failure however my exercise doesnt say anything about it.When it doesnt say anything about it , which value should I pick out?
