So i have been using orcad for 10+ years. I was just forced to migrate to 17.4 and its broken my world.
I have watched many tutotials and i think the term "library" that is used is very frustrating.
In many videos when producing a part to be used in simulation, the part has an .olb extension.
But then..... so does a library also having a .olb extension.
furthermore, in the user interface, in your project manager there is something called libraries but then on the right side, there is another thing called libraries when you try and place a part. The over use of this term is maddening
Can anyone explain the difference?
