Hello, same problem here. Anyone found any clues?

 

What is the No. of the motor board ? and what is the symptom?

 

The board is MC2100E REV C and the symptoms are the same as the OP says. LED solid ON, motor tested fine, blue pin on HD2 shows increasing voltage with increasing speed from console (i don't have a proper PWM meter or oscilloscope, but get an increasing 0-0.7V reading against ground as i increase the speed on the console). Incline control works.

EDIT: A+/- voltage is 0.

 

Check pins 2 -4 and 5 & 7 of the 8 pin MIC4427 and check if the signal is out put. to the mosfet.
What is the A+/- voltage?

HD2 signal may be there, but not getting to the Micro?
It inputs to a opto isolator.

 

Another check is from A+ to GND (one end of R32) and see if the DC ramps up on a command.

 

The U1 opto is ok, passing signal to pin 2 of the microprocessor. But nothing comes out at pin 8. Does this mean the microprocessor is faulty? Wouldn't the led be off if the micro was dead? Maybe there are more inputs to the micro that I need to check?

 

Maybe a faulty Q1 could be causing this? It would mean the motor +V sense (pin 3) would be getting a wrong value?

 

The Micro also ramps up the DC output of the Q1 SCR when, and if a command is received.
