I have a proteus mtm-5600 treadmill which is now showing a e1 error and the belt does not move. The output voltage on the power board reads around 72 vdc whereas the motor needs 180 vdc. i have a picture of the board at:

What can i test with a multimeter? i am an electronics noob but can use a multimeter and know some basics. As a minimum, I just to know how the board works and maybe measure at different points to check for component failure. I can take it to a repair guy but I would like to know enough so that I can he is doing the right thing. Its not uncommon for the repair guy to fry the board because he is fumbling around
