I have a design where I'm using AN3 in a 16F19197 microcontroller as a touch sensor. The PCB line, shown in blue in the attached image, is too close to other lines that are drivers for an LCD display. Every once in a while I get a false trigger for the touch sensor algorithm. I cut the PCB line and ran a thin wire from the PIC to the touch sensor and the false triggers stopped, so the problem is the PCB line!
What are the guidelines to run a touch sensor line in a PCB board? What is the distance that I should have between two lines to avoid interference? As you can see in the attached picture, I don't have much space in the board. Thanks for your help.
