i just want to know. what is time response of control system
and why we find out the rise time, settling time of control system

The time response of a dynamic system provides information about how the system responds to certain inputs. We analyse the time response to determine the stability of the system and the performance of the controller.

If we have insight into the inertia of a system, then we can 'anticipate' the results of injected change. Closed loop systems will employ this 'anticipation' in commanding the system. The response time is wholly dependant on the overall system inertia. The controller may update the command in micro seconds, but 'change' should account for system dynamics, as previously mentioned.

Failure to accomdodate system dynamics typically results in overshoot/ringing/oscillations/runaway.
