first time user of this forum. i am stuck on a question which is part of an assignment on three phase (polyphase) power and am unable to refer to my notes as some kind twat has nicked them just when i need them.
whats bugging me is that i cant remember how to define phase lead and phase lag. any comments welcome.

 

Time is the answer.

If I get to Dublin before you, then I lead you. If I get to Dublin after you, then I lag you.

Substitute "voltage level of interest" for Dublin, and the two phases for "you" and "I."
