No strong (IMO there is presently strong scientific evidence but that statement in the opinion post above means there is scientific evidence) vs ZERO, NONE, NADA scientific evidence of a lab leak being the origin event. What we have in the opinion post is personal bias of a predetermined target, China. I don't trust China, period but there is NO scientific evidence of a lab leak.To this day, there is no strong scientific evidence ruling out a lab leak or proving that the virus arose from human-animal contact in that seafood market. The few papers cited for market origin were written by a small, overlapping group of authors, including those who didn’t tell the public how serious their doubts had been.
In the New York Times (was my point) .What we have in the opinion post is personal bias of a predetermined target, China.

It's just a opinion post. They occasionally have done that for about the last 100 plus years. In the New York Times (was my point) .

Go figure.
Completely out of character. Such an opinion would never have been published in the NYT prior to this year. It's just a opinion post. They occasionally have done that for about the last 100 plus years.
BFD is my answer about any opinion post from any news publication. It's called a newspaper and I still read it occasionally for real news and facts, not anyone's personal feelings or opinions.Completely out of character. Such an opinion would never have been published in the NYT prior to this year.
They would have had a mutiny on their hands, worse than the Tom Cotton fiasco a few years ago.
