Even better.Nah. Owner did it.
I've decided to take advantage of the system and be a squatter.
The blatant racism is never that well disguised here sometimes.Yes. They've invented lots of new ways to steal tech from the West.
You can do much better than that. The Chinese actions are blatant in the extreme. The blatant racism is never that well disguised here sometimes.
I thought we weren't allowed to talk about Israeli setllersYou can laugh or cry. No tears for their self-made hells.
With all due respect I've been told that politics is really to be left alone, yet here people are repeatedly making contentious claims about other cultures and countries. I'd happily discuss the relative merits and shortcomings of China and the US here but politics (which includes geopolitics) is out of bounds, I just wish others would respect the rule that I've been asked to respect. You can do much better than that. The Chinese actions are blatant in the extreme.
Well, stealing tech is the official policy of the CCP.

China is one of the most abusive countries in the world. Their human rights record is horrible.

Why you asking me? I was the accused. What, pray tell is a “communist race”?
You should ask that of the person that dropped the racism card out of the blue when we were talking about the official policies of the CCP.What, pray tell is a “communist race”?
l haves few friends whom I knew in California who came from Viet Nam. I could not imagine any of them being communists. Otherwise why did they leave for the U.S.?
U.S. FBI Director Christopher Wray said the "unprecedented" joint call was meant to confront the "unprecedented threat" China poses to innovation across the world.
From quantum technology and robotics to biotechnology and artificial intelligence, China was stealing secrets in various sectors, the officials said.
"China has long targeted businesses with a web of techniques all at once: cyber intrusions, human intelligence operations, seemingly innocuous corporate investments and transactions," Wray said. "Every strand of that web had become more brazen, and more dangerous."
How might a young Chinese person feel when reading these posts about China which are invariably derogatory? The xenophobia is clear, it is incessant here especially with respect to China. My won children are half Chinese, I know the kind of things they see and hear in this country. You should ask that of the person that dropped the racism card out of the blue when we were talking about the official policies of the CCP.
IMO a young Chinese person should look a the official policies of the CCP because what's being discussed here. I also have Chinese relatives (from long ago when they built the railroads in Texas and married former slaves). Stop making this personal. How might a young Chinese person feel when reading these posts about China which are invariably derogatory? Thank You.I always try to make a clear distinction between a country and its people, and its government. They are usually far from being the same thing. At all. Unfortunately, out of habit, most of us tend to refer to a government and/or its leaders using the name of the country instead.
Why dwell then on China? other than racism and xenophobia why is China routinely called out in this forum when I could list umpteen countries (including the United States) that have deplorable records in many areas? Is it the only country with human rights abuses? No.IMO a young Chinese person should look a the official policies of the CCP because what's being discussed here. I also have Chinese relatives (from long ago when they built the railroads in Texas and married former slaves). Stop making this personal.
IMO it doesn't help the cause of actual racism defending the CCP.
Everything you say can be challenged, it is inaccurate to put it mildly. The US has killed more people since WW2 than any other country, it has dropped more bombs than any other country, it has caused more starvation and poverty than any other nation and has one of the highest homicide rates in the developed world.Just to be perfectly clear, thus not ever to be misunderstood: I am an absolute bigot against the communist and socialist races.
To anyone who is a member of either the communist or the socialist race: you are irredeemable, you cause poverty, starvation, mass death and destruction -- all the while enriching yourselves -- and I hate you. Get out of the gene pool.
I would only add to your dissertation that the Chinese government is brazenly complicit in many of those dishonest affairs.People dwell on China here (a site about electronic circuits) because of technology and this is a technology forum. The number of ripoffs, scams, stolen IP, fake parts and flat out criminal activity from China (businesses) is well documented by all. People are not being racist or xenophobic, they are being realistic about the current situation IRT China and technology. The calls of blatant dishonesty is the fault of those being dishonest to customers (That includes vast numbers of Chinese customers being ripped off) that expect to get what they pay for.

The Chinese (and other asians) are the victims here.Evidence of the Kokang families’ deep cooperation with Chinese state officials has partially been scrubbed from the Chinese internet and social media but some of it was archived and verified by The Post. Statements, news releases and photos on the official websites and social media pages of the Kokang authorities, and the Myanmar and Chinese governments show that they worked together on multiple economic projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Workers, mostly Chinese nationals or ethnic Chinese, were bought, sold and traded; and then beaten, tortured or killed when they didn’t reach financial targets or tried to escape, according to firsthand accounts, in some cases supported by verified video footage, photos and screenshots of text messages supplied by victims. The Post also reviewed Chinese court records and found more than 1,100 criminal cases linked to Kokang, some specifically to the compounds and businesses operated by the three clans, over the past decade. Almost all focused on low-level operatives involved in illegal gambling, human trafficking and narcotics, the records show, while the heads of the families continued to work with Chinese officials.
