“Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market,” Aridor said. “Our solution will be both generic and personal.”

I hope he meant the treatment will last a few weeks. Otherwise, why bother.

Indeed, it sounds too good to be true... but at least the source has the appearance of being a serious one.
I’m sure they’re serious but they’re hopelessly naive. Read all the occurrences of the word “should”. They have a great idea that hasn’t really been tested. They’re in for disappointment. Nature is like that.

They do sound like genuine scientists, so maybe using the word naive is a little harsh... let's call them overenthusiastic... :D

I've seen the story on several more sites today. Hopefully there is something to it.

I can't see how just the results with mice..........can make them feel so sure. It must be that they know from previous work.......to get some kind of assurance that it will behave the same with humans.

Surely they wouldn't raise such hope without cause. I hope it's not a funding or media ploy.

We have enough fake news.

It might be, but I suspect they're sincere. They just haven't suffered public humiliation yet and learned to not raise expectations without data.

And the Russians are backing Maduro.

Sometimes you gotta wonder: will they ever align with the white hats?
Looks like they are taking the gold out.

CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) – Clark County Public Health announced Thursday afternoon that the measles outbreak in the area has reached 41 confirmed cases and 15 suspected cases.
...
Officials are concerned about overlap between the possible exposure period and the end of the regular school day, so Clark County Public Health is requiring an exclusion of students and staff who do not have documented immunity to measles and were at the school at any time on Jan. 17. This exclusion will apply to schools, child care and other congregate settings.
