The fun times. I remember walking around this area in the 70's looking for hippies and winos to buy us 'underage for Cali' sailors booze for a few bucks over the price.

Too bad SF turned completely anti-military and lost all the local bases because the locals reps didn't care during BRAC (https://www.acq.osd.mil/brac/) as it was a hell of a lot of fun back them.

Oregon math, reading achievement among the nation’s worst, new scores show

In the latest confirmation that extended pandemic-era school closures took a huge toll on a generation of young Oregonians, new federal test results show the state’s middle and elementary students still lag far behind in reading and math.

Pre-pandemic, Oregon students regularly bested those in other states or at least ranked near national averages on the National Assessment of Education Progress, the only standardized achievement test given to a representative sample of students in all states.
These poor kids are still being affected by bad decisions during the pandemic.

It's "equity" they care about. Not lives.
I reported it, as I don't appreciate being called a Nazi for being for the enforcement of constitutional immigration laws in America that every country on the planet also has and enforces with equal or more vigor.

I hope the mods take it seriously. I got called on the mat this morning for suggesting the possibility that someone here was 'being dense'.

The rule I supposedly broke was 'name calling'.
