That's pretty cool. I have seen robots used in the VA Hospital here in Cleveland, Ohio. They move things throughout the facility including getting on and off elevators. Step in front of one and they stop on a dime.
About a million years ago when I worked at TI, they had one that would deliver the mail. It would follow an "invisible line" on the floor. The would do something different for the line where they wanted the robot to stop. It would stop an beep until someone came out to get the mail. They would then push a button and it would continue. It had flashing blue lights. We called it Blue Eyes.
Every once in a while they would need to repaint the line. They would put signs down "Do not step on the invisible line". I always thought it was hilarious. I grabbed one, one day but no idea what happened to it.
I also had the opportunity to buy a missile radome. I regret not buying one. It would have made a nice conversation piece.
