Most do, had a lab years ago who loved to swim. Over the past 32 years with my wife we have always had two and for a period 3 dogs. Some loved the water and some not so much. Charlotte when she was maybe 10 weeks tried to swim in their water bowl.

I need to get her out in the park where we have a nice creek with pools and see how she does with it. She is actually a Golden. My Tasha who really loved water was a shepherd / lab mix. Brutus, my daughter's shepherd loves water and swimming.

20190709_180804.jpg Yesterday I came home from work to be greeted by my dogs at my front lawn. There is no fence around my house all doors were closed. They were exhausted and dehydrated. My best guess at this point is a break and enter through back door which could have been opened through a window I left open. Then the dogs got out when the person came in. Nothing taken/disturbed as there is nothing to take...

They couldnt even watch me eat. They won't talk about their day :(

They look like they had a heck of a day. That totally sucks that someone was in your home while you were away. At least they only seem to have let the dogs out.

It happened again...20190714_152639.jpg

Went just a year without an incident. My other dog appears to have reached an age (10) where he does not want to take these chances anymore. For me a sunday trip to a vet is a vit pricey

She is trying to recover from all the drugs it took to keep her sedated, she does bit go down easy
