Personally, I think that neutering an animal is even worse than removing its claws, and that's something that is done by law in many states when one buys an animal from shelter.

Neutering does not harm males for which there is no intention of working or breeding. It is simple "outpatient" surgery.

Spaying females is serious surgery, similar to a hysterectomy in a woman.

Quite the contrary... my argument is that sometimes one has to choose between the lesser of two evils... and I think we're on the same page on that subject

Grey wolves, at the Wolf Science Center in Vienna, were just as good as dogs at working with their trainers to drag a tray of food towards them by each taking one end of a rope.
