My Cat begs for the laser, the first Photo is her way of saying Pleeeeeeease I want to play. The next is saying fine maybe I can get this things to work.

De-clawing was never an option. Regardless of personal beliefs...
I read that veterinarians in Canada formally banned the procedure recently; though many had refused to do it before that.

If you think about it, it's inhumane. To prevent claws from growing back, they have to amputate the last (first) joint on the toes. Since cats walk on their toes, it affects their balance and the way the walk.

Personally, I think that neutering an animal is even worse than removing its claws, and that's something that is done by law in many states when one buys an animal from shelter.
