Yes, and I pretty much figured that out. She is really great with the camera. I especially like the details in her pictures.

Hi,

Run it through a special filter and even a little more detail. You have to have a viewer that can scroll through the two pictures to see it though. The original, then this new one. As you scroll from #1 to #2 you see the details jump out, although it is subtle.

Hi, Al. What filter/software did you use?

Hi,

Oh sorry, I build my own image processing routines and programs and don't really have one publicly available, at least not yet. I should probably think about creating one that can be run on any computer. I've been asked about this over the years, but it takes a lot more work to get one ready for the general public.

In the mean time, you can get by with an image program that can do image enhancing. A function similar to "Enhance Detail".
There are a lot of variations on that though, but you could try a general purpose one to start. I think lots of image software would have at least the basic version.

You adopted it?
Nope. She would have died there. Not enough strength to climb out of the lake. 16 year old on her last legs, according to the owner.

I wouldn't even have noticed her buried in the weeds but for my dog who saw her and wouldn't stop barking till I came out to see what the fuss was all about.

Luckily, she had a tag with her name and a phone number.

The real hero of this story is my dog. Good boy!

I question that study. One time when I was laying in the yard while pulling weeds (due to very extreme/excruciating, going to pass out level, back pain from an auto injury), one of our cats came to check on me. She was a former, almost feral, stray and, at that time, rarely let me approach her when she was outside.

Maybe she was checking if you were ripe enough to eat? ... just kidding, of course.

I had a cat that could sense when I had a back ache and would climb into bed with me while I was laying on my side. Then he'd lean on my back EXACTLY where it hurt and would warm the spot with his body, whilst purring at the same time ... best massages ever ... may he rest in peace, he was the pet of my life ... :(
