Doggie DNA to fine the owners. Nice ... oh wait, they broke the law and are subjected to fines. It would not suprise me if the pet adoption agencies were collecting samples to fill the database. Then it's a simple match on who adopted the pet.

 

It's becoming common practice because the DNA testing is so cheap. Many communities allow dogs but only if owners submit a sample for DNA "fingerprinting".

Yeah, I guess this method favors responsibility and accountability on the part of the owner ... I guess it's only a matter of time before it's also applied to cats. And maybe later on to exotic pets, like snakes and monkeys ... if they escape into the wild and are caught, God help the owner!

It will get so bad that there will be a special judge to hear all the cases of those who don't "pay the fine". It's a full employment for judges program.

Yeah, it seems they are very fond of collecting fines and court costs ad infinitum. The more the merrier. Actually paying to put someone in prison? Not so much.

Had to put my babygirl down today, Hadies and Toby went together at 12:05, they spent some time in the sun, Hadies an American Pitbull rescue, Toby a Boxer. They were like brother and sister.

It was much different than I thought, it was peaceful, went to sleep and in 2 minutes was gone, Hadies was 14 old for a pitbull, Toby was 13 old for a boxer.

Sad day today for me. But, I thought I would remove them from AAC pets.

It's tough, I know. I've got a 16-yr old cat and I'm not looking forward to the inevitable day, as you went through.

Anyway, your post sent me looking for a goofy pet photo to evoke a chuckle. I guess you're not a cat person but this is the best I could do.

 

I have 2 cats, Hadies in effect raised them and when they were bad, she scolded them.

That picture is well, sad. Not funny.
