So what is that symbol? It is allaboutmoney indeed, dude...:--/
I used to love that show but I don't remember that episode. They were all nuts anyway ha ha.Or as Gomez Addams told Pugsley "Why do you want a puppy? All it's going to do is grow up to be a dog!" I'm sure the writers stole the line from Ogden...
Ok then you should know it does not show up like that when you type the text like you did.
You reminded me of something else about the dog I was talking about...I knew a dog who vocalized under certain circumstances. He would bark anytime people were outside while sitting from his perching spot at the window. I never heard him bark while people were inside. I think he knew how to communicate to friendly humans without barking and only barked towards things he did not perceive to be a friendly human as part of his job as a guard dog.
My long standing theory is dogs are more like humans than mainstream science likes to admit. They have diverse personalities, are capable of learning and have an extended attention span towards activities they enjoy.
Given they are mammals like us, we share many body language cues which are non-verbal. You can tell your dog to go sniff out an area by just nodding and looking towards the area.
Maybe the dog you are talking about can't bark but maybe he just doesn't want to. Is there a friendly experiment you can do to find out?
Perhaps you could try barking or growling while enticing him with a treat. He might catch on that the task is tied to the reward which is often cited as evidence of the free will of an animal. Of their own volition, they expend costly energy in exchange for a potential reward.
Without these kinds of experiments, I think it's very hard not to anthropomorphize an animal. We share many characteristics but we are also very different.
It takes a great deal of observation to understand animals and I think truly non-invasive animal experiments towards this end are still in their infancy.
Hi,How old is he? Most pups don't start really barking until ~2 years old. From then on it's Katy bar the door. One of the nicknames for our Lab is our 4 footed doorbell. Anything or anyone new coming into the yard is a reason to bark but once out of the vehicle or in the house it's time to play and be petted. He got all bent out of shape one night about something outside so we let him out and he was barking up a fit in the front yard so we went out to see what it was. He was trying to get this funny looking red dog with a big fluffy tail with a white tip in the front yard to play with him. Surprisingly the wild red fox wasn't running away from this nutso labrador retriever who was trying to play with him and was just watching his antics as he was running around making a fool of himself. One of his other nicknames is Doofus! He is the stupidest dog we ever owned even if he is loveable.
It appears to be long-nosed emoticon version of the confused face emoji:So what is that symbol?
