i have an ac to dc converter,i want to measure THD ,can anyone clearly explain how to measure thd.and how to connect the circuit to supply,test procedure??

You need a piece of equipment that measures the harmonic content of the sine wave under test.

 

If it's an ac to dc converter, are you trying to measure the THD of the input sinewave?

Easy to measure. It's zero. Or is it infinity?

My point was, why did the op want to measure the input THD?

 

for difference part. test standard is not same, frist you need a test circuit, then test on a meter.
