I’ve been in need of someone to spoon-feed me how to calculate voltage drops and individual branch currents in parallel and combination circuits. What I’ve found on this sight has been the most helpful information I’ve seen so far. Thanks!

Glad to hear the site and section was of help DJ Doyle. The section you refer to is one of the more mature sections of the e-book.

I agree. I have been in electronics for 20 some years, and am currently taking online electronic courses. I have never really understood the vector coordinates and how the mixed form x+jX relates to polar coordinates. The courses that I am enrolled had an introduction into this subject but I did not really know what I was doing. I now believe that I have a much better understanding and think that I will be much better at my course work and in my field.

Thank you so much for an easy to understand and relevant explanation.
