Hi there,

I am new to all this electrical circuit stuff so any help which much appreciated. :)

I have designed an electrical circuit for the control of a band heater used to heat a pipe (see attachment). The system consists of two parallel systems both have a 3-prong rocker switch, a PID controller, thermal couple and a band heater.

If anyone could give me some advice/corrections into whether the wiring I have proposed is correct, again this would be much appreciated.

It looks like the normally closed contact on the PID controllers would short out the supply. I would just leave that contact not connected.
