Way more than qualifies. While I am not Irish I am a big time corned beef eater, really like corned beef hash and those little corned beef and sauerkraut balls.

According to 23 and Me, I’m a good part Irish. My Ex was third generation Irish. As is my girlfriend. My three grandkids all have red hair (my daughter’s hubby is second generation Irish). So, the fact that I love flat-cut, red* corned beef in a boiled dinner that includes cabbage, carrots, turnips & potato is not a surprise. Served with a wee bit of brown mustard and vinegar. I’ve had it four times this week and will have it again on Sunday before the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Then, it’s wait until next March.

* Corned beef comes in two styles. “Grey” and “Red”. I prefer the latter.

I do a lot of east Indian cooking and have heard much about Mustard oil, anyone use it?
I see that bottles' sold in U.S.A. have to be marked not suitable for cooking, for some reason?
But used extensively elsewhere.
