Hey all!

Just found this great Community and resource!

I recently moved and my TacX Vortex Trainer was damage in the process(the end cap was popped off). The trainer powers up and connects properly, but does not read any power inputs. I noticed the "IC4" was loose and has been broken from the board. I am trying to identify and locate the component to see if this quick repair solves my issues.

I have attached a few photos to show the component I need assistance identifying.

Hi, were you able to find a part number on you photo interrupter? Mine got obliterated by the spinning tabs and I want to fix it, but I don't have any of the outer casing where a part number may have been... If you were able to figure it out, it would be a great help. Thanks!

Had the same issue it's an omron device, rs components

According to the RS number, it is an Omron EE SX1041.
It can likely also be found at other suppliers.
