Hello,

I am trying to create a system that tests the junctions of thirteen (13) FMMT 597 transistors mounted on PCB.
I'll be using a NI board and Labview to make the testing code (I don't know which board I have to choose).
I have to design and make a relay card, also.

I have already designed and created the bed-of-nails using non-mobile probes (28 probes).
At this level, I seem to be very confused about what to do and how to do.

It might help if you were to describe the circuits to which the transistors are connected, that is if they are connected to anything other than the bed of nails fixture.

 

In most cases a board to be subjected to automated testing has to be designed with that in mind. If for example there are nodes that are connected directly to a voltage source, they cannot be "forced" without damaging the board.

How is it that the board can do anything useful if they are not connected?
