    Hello,

It will just test as two diodes.
    The cathodes are connected together:

    Hello,

As I said, it are just two diodes in one package.
You show a picture of the TO-247 version:

There are TWO diodes, the K is the common, the A's are separate:

What more is there to say?

I am a slow learner as well, I have a question based on the diagram... when testing this component out of circuit, should there be continuity between A1 and A2 or not? I'm not not sure of this because of the placement and direction of the diodes in the diagram...

Thank you for your response, that's what I was thinking as well... I was told that the anodes were tied together before the diodes, but it seems that would defeat the whole purpose...?
