I had two choices: 1) Fire the ISP or, 2) wait for them to learn their jobs.
As it stands right now, someone at the ISP learned about Smurf attacks.
Meanwhile, I got some education, too.
I learned that my security practices were not breached.

ps, what does "IWHT" mean?

That would be a serious problem for me. If every search failure in a certain category pointed to my house I would not like the attention of random strangers.
