Hi

Could some one of you guys share a good Stable circuit for a flyback transfomer driver, Have been using the 2n3055 circuit latley which don't last very long before it dies.

If you're driving it anywhere near properly - the pulses on the collector could be as high as 1500V, far too much for a 3055.

The safe way would be to salvage the flyback transistor from an old TV, typical collector voltages; 1500 - 2000V - but these transistors tend to have low gain; often not much more than 8 - some even as low as 2! You won't get the full peak voltage without the resonant load of the scan coils and various tuning components, so you might get away with a bipolar transistor from a flyback PSU designed for mains operation.
