555 timer mono stable won't work with trigger button pressed down

So, I built a one-shot 5 sec. timer with a TLC555. Running at 3v.

If I trigger it with a single press, my LED comes on for 5 seconds, then winks out. Good.

If I hold my finger on the trigger, switch the power to ON from OFF, the LED comes on, but never goes off.

I want the LED to wink off after 5 seconds, whether or not I give the trigger button a quick press, or hold down the trigger button, or ground the trigger, then switch on the power.

How?

C=100uH, R=47uH Pullup+10k Output=1k resi. + LED

Then you need to AC couple the trigger switch. Otherwise, the timer can't time out until the trigger input rises to 2/3 Vcc/3.
EDIT: Corrected typo.
