I am finding an alternate for SRAM (K6R4016C1D) , and i have found one (CY7C1041D-10ZSXI) but there is mismatch between their Input Capacitance values.

CY7C1041D-10ZSXI has Cin 8pF whereas original has 6pF....
what does this parameter signifies....how can i be sure that this alternate will work properly in place of original regarding this parameter?

Well, the difference is so small that it won't affect the operation of the RAM. However, if you want to verify it you have to know the maximum frequency of the signals on the pins and how they are driven.

 

Both RAM modules have in the spec the same Access Time (10ns) So at my first glance they should be compatible. But I did not read the data sheets very thorough, I have to admit

 

The input cap difference is only significant on what is driving this device. While a 33% increase sounds like a lot the net value is still small. If you are concerned look at the spec of your driver chip and see what load cap they spec it at; my guess is you will be fine.
