In a house just a minute walk from school so don't want to leave

but Landlady does not allow me to use wires in the house, does not allow me to lock my door (the whole basement for me)

Want to get a small "spy video recorder". Got one but it's big : https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07XXPW42M?ref_=pe_3034960_443727830_E_301_dt_1

Need something similar but very small (so no one can see).. Any suggestions?

Also, is it right to say tenant should not lock door?

Thanks

If the utility access is where you live...then yes...but you should be able to make arrangements to provide the keys to the landlady.

Is your access from the outside or is your access from the inside and your coming in from an entry provided by the LandLady? If an inside entry its her house her rules, I think you assumed to much when you got the place, if it’s well priced and it’s just a temp location until your done with school I wouldn’t complain, like if she needs access to to laundry or other such things you can’t lock her out, if her utilities are in that area she needs full access when ever needed.
