Hi,
I am a beginner.. Can someone please help me with the equations of time interval, peak values, average values and output values for a centre tap split supply(or dual polarity) bridge rectifier .

Also, please tell me how I can calculate +Vo and -Vo in the below circuit:

Please help!!! :(

Thanks in advance!!:)

The transformer will be quoted as RMS so the dc output will be 1.414*transformer output assuming perfect transformer load behaviour. Obviously you will actually get less than that voltage on-load as the transformer will not be perfect.

The outputs will be + and - the same value as the transformer is centre tapped.

As the two capacitors are different I imaging the designer expects different loads on the positive and negative rails.

Loading will also produce ripple on the output that is related to both the load current and the capacitor values.
