Hello, I wonnder what is the purpose of using SPDU (Secondary Power Distribution Unit), as I have understood they are used to split the power in their inputs to more outputs with reduced power dissipation while providing safety (such as over current protection, arc fault protection). Also I have seen that they can also be used as DC-DC converters ( I wonder if it is true or not since there are not enough information over internet about SPDU's). So would a schematic like attached image be true for a usage of SPDU? As you can see it takes 1 input (Let's assume its input is 20 V) and giving 3.3 V and 18 V outputs.
