I saw a video where someone used flexible printed circuit board. Something like that would be perfect for a project I have in mind.

The problem is what I found is VERY expensive. Anyone know of a good source for this stuff where you don't pay an arm and a leg?

I did find this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scissor-Cu...688633?hash=item43e9b3e0b9:g:WuAAAOSwG-1WvmiJ

Looks like some scraps at a halfway decent price. Hoping to do better as I likely won't be able to use most of those pieces.

I never have... If you find a source please let us know. ;)

adafruit has this but it seems awfully thin to me and is pricey at $8.95 for a 6" by 6" piece :

And Mouser stocks it:

I once tried to get some scraps from the end of the roll from a major, local, PCB fabricator. I was informed that, even though they had flex circuits quoted on their web site, they actually had an out-of-state company do the fabrication. :(

I saw a video from Capel Technology Co.Ltd and there are many types of circuit board produced which is used by flexible printed circuit board for sale. Anyway, if you want to know more, you could check their video.

0,5 mm FR4 is rather much flexy, the bend radius may be even so harsh as about centimeter. And it costs the same as normal 1,5 mm FR4. Have a multiple m2 of it, but rarely is occassion to use it with a positive outcome.
