Some advice on led power supplies

I'm looking to install some SK6812 5v led strips (about 5 metres) and trying to work out a suitable power supply.

I was looking at a Mean Well RSP-100 series unit, it's rated at 20a/5v, but It doesn't mention that it's specifically for LEDs. I know some types of LEDs require a driver, just looking for some advice if this type would be suitable?

Before you can pick a suitable power supply, you need to know if the LED strips have built-in current limiting resistors. If they do, then any supply with the right voltage and current rating will do the job.
If they don't have limiting resistors, you will need to select a supply that has a compliance voltage and constant current output that matches the specification of the LEDs.

Thank you for clarifying this, I believe they do, but I'll look further.

If the specification for the LED strips is 5 volts, then the 5 volt Mean Well supply of adequate current rating will be a very good choice.

Be careful with 5V strips. If you use 5m strips, you will need to supply voltage at both ends or you will see a noticeable fade along the strip.

I have 12V WS2815B strips and the voltage actually drops to about 10V over 5m, but the brightness does not fade. I guess the have a good constant current source in the chip.

Can you post a datasheet or specifications from the seller for us?, so we see how select suitable power supply and how connect with controller?
