What can you say about clandestine FM stations in Montana. I have my own little station using a zfmsm connected to a simple coaxial dipole antenna on the side of the house. The output power was turned down to keep coverage just to the lot and to make it ~FCC legal.

FYI - I purchased a CZE-7C and plan to use a spare Linux CubieBoard I have
I expect to be FCC legal when I am done, though if I were a bit over I don't expect problems because my closest neighbor is 1/2 mile and I doubt there are FCC specialists waiting with baited breath to travel to Timbuktu Montana in their electronics rf directional finding van.

 

It would be easy to write a script or program and have cron execute that every half hour.

Good idea - I had not thought of cron... (I am a retired sys admin for gov hospitals)

MPC has a quit after song ends. A cron that executed that command with a time stamp then initiated a new play list would solve the whole problem - elegant too.
