..... hung in the window.
You do not understand that a solar panel must be outdoors and be pointing upwards directly at the sun.
Your window blocks much of the sun energy and the solar panels are not pointing at the sun.

Amazon sells cheap clothes and shoes. They know nothing about solar panels.

I think one of my key points here is continually being missed. This is all purely experimental and education based. That window that is killing my solar yield. its right above my Electronics lab/desk. This whole system is about easy access, self education and comfort while doing it. As far a steeping my self in theory. Lets be clear I am learn by doing person. Not a learn by reading. I can get knowledge by reading but that rarely leads to application. Application is always the major hurdle so starting with it is essential for any reasonable time frame.

It is not about an optimal result or how it should be done. Chances are also every component will be dismantled and re used in new projects after 12 months or less service. Long term I will either upgrade this residence or another with a full solar and wind rig. An this is just the start of that learning.

Just to update, I am about 70% certain that the battery is toast. So before I do anything else I am going to grab a Lithium ION Battery that suits all this better. Anyone suggest a retailer that sells good batteries obviously not amazon.

A Lithium-ion battery is dangerous and can explode/catch on fire when wrongly charged or discharged. Some are sold with a "protection circuit" inside them.

If you have a proper charging circuit for the unprotected lithium-ion battery then the battery is ruined the first time its discharging voltage gets too low and it might catch on fire the next time it is charged.

This is a very dangerous mentality. The whole point of theory is to eliminate trial and error which is especially important for energized systems. Clearly you intend to minimalize the calculations and safety precautions set forth by theory and the more you talk about your project the more I believe you to be incompetent for the project at this time. It scares me to think you will continue despite multiple recommendations and if you have children or live in shared accomodations then you should really reevaluate your thought process as you are potentially placing others in danger as well as yourself.

So ............... Your whole post does what your signature says you shouldn't do. Just refer to your own flow chart. You have decided I am going to fail knowing nothing about me. I am currently going to disregard your advice because your a negative person trying to dicourage me. If you have something positive to say Ill listen. bye.

Thanks for the warning I'll make sure to check with the vendor that makes my current charge controller and see if it handles the battery I buy. If I have to change that out I will thanks.

I don't see how you arrived at this from my comments. I'm using a supercapacitor to build a solar project solely so I can eliminate the dangers of batteries. I'm far from competent in building a practical solar powered system myself.. but I can definitely tell your a few steps behind me. And if you don't want to study then prepare yourself for a shock or a boom. I've seen enough in my own experiments.
