Start by reading up on the UC3842 (read manufacturers' datasheets and application notes), but make sure that you don't get to the end of the course without learning about magnetomotive force, reluctance, flux, flux density, core loss and saturation.

I will, thank you. I am familiar w some terms you have mentioned since we had discussion on electromagnetics before. Thanks a lot

what does this mean? ;-;
It looks like the only way power can get to the primary of the transformer is through the logic gate inputs, which will not do much to allow current flow. In fact, it won't do anything. Check out your wiring diagram to the primary again.

The 0V at IC1 pin 1, capacitor C5, resistor R4 and opto Q2 is missing a connection to the negative out of the bridge rectifier.
