Hi,

I've been looking into different motor configurations and found some cool PCB coil BLDC motor. I haven't found any online but could you use SMD ferrite inductors purchased by say Digikey and then use them to make a motor?

Ferrite cores are designed to focus and contain the magnetic fields, not much outside the core.
