Hello,

I have a Foscam camera that stopped working. After inspection I found an SMD part that look suspicious. Unfortunately I can not find any information about this part. A google search showed me some parts with some of the letters, but the number of pins, or the shape did not match.

Can anyone help me to identify this part so I know if the camera is repairable or trash.

Please find attached a photo of the part 0V( orW) V2L

Thanks in advance

I had a trail cam where the image soc power supply would not start. Jumping it with another supply did work. What I couldn’t resolve was the supply enable, coming from the general microcontroller. I suspect a condition was being met for it to enable the image soc supply. With the few pins on the regulator you should be able to probe out what pins are what, and confirm enable.

That is a good idea but I am afraid that I will only find the 12V supply voltage. I have to reverse engineer parts of the PCB to find out what pins will go to the microcontroller. At least I will know a second voltage as the X- an Y-axes motors are 6V types.
