RE Smart energy meters
I hope someone can help.
1 I have a smart electric meter that shows usage of zero (empty building). This figure then flicks to 1 and then back to zero. Is that normal for a digital meter ?
2 Can an installing engineer test that a meter is able to operate (ie able to receive a signal ) before installation or, after installation - but prior to handover (pre handover commissioning)?
I have had (not by choice) a smart meter fitted. I am told that it is unable to connect and that I need move my electric supply. Of note, telephone and wifi signals are received at that same position.
