I was just wondering if anyone had made a Smart Arduino 12v Lead Acid battery Charge controller? I'm on a robotics team that has a need for good working and charged batteries when out and about. I was asked to design and possibly make a battery charging cart that we could take anywhere we take our robots. I was wanting to make it completely automated on when to trickle charge it, charge it, float charge it or not charge it. Indicate charge level to a LED or LCD panel. As anyone done something like this? I have a battery charger already, and I can use if needed as a alternate controller, TI LauchPad, PSoc Prototype USB board, and a Rasperberry Pi
