These guys must have calibrated eyeballs and fingers. The only "precision" tool they used was the original stamping die for the sheet metal. Aside from that, everything else was eyeballed and hammered and filed into shape.

Not sure I'd trust one of these not to jam up if my life depended on it.

On most of the AK's I fired and had, the mag chamber and bolt fit was so loose just about anything would work. The drum mags were total crap, never depend on one. I still have a Soviet SKS made in the 50's. Great weapon that used stripper clips
for the internal mag.
