As with many simulators with graphical schematic capture, many parts have an inferred connection to Node 0. Notice in the left circuit that neither the source nor the scope have a pin that can be used to connect to ground -- it is internal.The circuits are incomplete.
In the first circuit the signal source is not connected to ground.
In both circuits the oscilloscope is not connected to ground.
Then the scope will probably show only interference.
